A small random deed at a time. Thats what I have always told my kids. In the world filled with materialistic wants our benevolent acts are often measured by how much money we give to those who are in need. There is no doubt that money is vital to sustain life in this world that we now live in. Ask the poor what they need and of course the basic necessities of food and shelter will always be the answer. And of course money will play a vital role to fulfill that need. I am not here to question that need but I am here to bring a cause that even the poor and the wealthy can contribute the same. That is a small random act of kindness at a time. I once went shopping at a Mall in Brunei with my son and near the elevator, we saw an empty can lying on the floor. The trash bin was just close by. So I told my son lets pick the empty can up and just threw it into the bin. I said to him we don't need until the bin man came and picked up the empty can. I also told him, whilst we are judged by people with what we have, God will judge us by the kindness that we give. LET'S GET INVOLVED: > HOW? BY SIMPLY DOING A SMALL RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS AT A TIME (e.g. giving your bus seat to the elderly or helping them cross the road, getting yourself in the Q, not to jump the red light whilst on the wheels, smile, smile, smile, not to throw that rubbish when you are driving and many more) > WHY? WE CAN MAKE BRUNEI A BETTER PLACE FOR EVERYONE AND AT THE SAME TIME PROMOTE THE VALUES OF RESPECT > WHAT DO I DO? JUST TELL YOUR FRIENDS, LETS DO A SMALL RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS AT A TIME. SPREAD THE MESSAGE AS KINDNESS IS REALLY CONTAGIOUS!!
